OneGhana Movement meets Accra Mayor on the
RIGHTWAY INITIATIVE ADOPT A BIN CAMPAIGN.
Preliminary and formal engagements have been held over a 3-month period between OneGhana Movement, the Accra Mayor, Hon. Adjei Sowah, AMA Waste Management Directorate and Jekora Ventures on the Right Way Initiative-Adopt a bin Campaign which seeks to help rid the city of filth and assist in providing solutions to the sanitation problems we are faced with.
On 6th of April, 2018, a follow-up meeting was held with the Accra Mayor and all stakeholders involved with the project to discuss the launching and deployment of the public waste bins.
The Mayor established that an awareness campaign on sanitation is set to begin at the basic school level, to educate the children on the importance of good sanitation practices. OneGhana Movement pledged to support this laudable cause as we believe in empowering the future generations to do the right things in the RightWay.
